A-B wants an order that would prevent InBev from taking steps to oust A-B's board. The 21-page filing in Missouri accuses the Belgian company of spreading rumors and providing misleading information about its deal financing. And the suit says InBev's business in Cuba could violate U.S. laws.

“Any commitments InBev has received are certainly rife with conditions leaving the proposed lenders free to walk away if, for example, market conditions deteriorate, InBev’s or the Company’s performance worsens, or they are unable to syndicate their loans,” the complaint argues, according to the New York Times. “For InBev to tout its purportedly ‘fully committed’ financing without disclosing these conditions is materially misleading.” Read the New York Times article.

A-B wants a court order that would prevent InBev from taking further steps to oust the A-B board, as it sought to do earlier Monday. See Post-Dispatch article.
