The newly formed St. Louis Theatre Circle -- consisting of local reviewers -- will hand out Louie awards for the 2012 season, picking up the baton left by the Kevin Kline Awards’ decision earlier this year to put its mission on hold.
The Professional Theater Council of St. Louis is suspending operations of its Kevin Kline Awards. The decision means no more judging will take place this year, no awards will be given for 2012 and no ceremony will be held next year.
