Gateway 180: Homelessness Reversed

Karen Solomon Young Adult Service Initiative will spend an afternoon assisting the women, children and families at Gateway 180. On June 10, the group will visit the shelter to help improve the facilities and living spaces, with simple landscaping and painting projects.

When the city shelter on Gasconade closed two years ago, Animal House stepped up and took in the cats. Its first home was a warehouse, but it has just finished a move into a setting that's better for people and, more importantly, for the cats.
