The next Beacon & Eggs, the St. Louis Beacon's popular series of town-hall style meetings. will be held from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 24 at McKinley Classical Leadership Academy, 2156 Russell Boulevard, St. Louis (two blocks east of Jefferson Avenue).
As befits the location, the topic will be education with panelists including, Kelvin Adams, superintendent of the St. Louis Public School District; Doug Thaman, executive director of the Missouri Charter Public Schools Association; and Don Senti, executive director of the Cooperating School Districts of St. Louis.
The question and answer session begins at 9 a.m. and will be broadcast live on KTRS-550 AM. A live video feed will be available via Facebook. KTRS talk show host McGraw Milhaven will moderate the panel and Dale Singer, Beacon education reporter, will also be posing questions. Members of McKinley's student government will participate as well.
The event is free and open to all members of the public, starting with a meet and greet at 8:00 a.m. Parking can be found on the street outside McKinley
