'Twelfth Night' coming to Shakespeare Glen
The play for the 2013 Shakespeare Festival St. Louis will be "Twelfth Night." Rick Dildine, executive director of the organization, said the play is one of his favorites: “This romantic comedy celebrates the Twelfth Night traditions of inverting the social order by letting commoners and fools switch places with kings and nobles for a day.”
Looking back at this year's performances of "Othello," the Festival said it hit a record attendance of 66,000, with only the second half of two performances cancelled because of rain.
Next season’s show will run from May 24 to June 16 at Shakespeare Glen in Forest Park. For more information, go to www.sfstl.com.
