Gypsy Caravan
In its 40th year running, Gypsy Caravan comes to the University of Missouri-St. Louis for its traditional Memorial Day shopping fair. More than 300 vendors and 20,000 shoppers will fill the campus, offering and looking for food, jewelry, art, antiques and more.
Since 1973, Gypsy Caravan has raised more than $3.4 million for the St. Louis Symphony, in support of the symphony’s 250 yearly free events across the region. It's one of the Midwest’s largest flea markets.
Says the press release, “Something is bound to catch your eye, capture your heart or whet your appetite.” The market will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on May 28, Memorial Day, rain or shine. Tickets cost $10 for regular admission (starting at 9 a.m.) and $20 for Early Bird Admission (7-9 a.m.).
