Summer Concert Series - 2012

In Out & About

3:52 am on Mon, 05.07.12

Updated at 10:59 am on Thu, 07.19.12

One of the more delightful things about St. Louis summers are the free concerts that can be found throughout the area. Here we present the series information we have at this time, including links to articles the Beacon has done about bands.

We will be on the look out for more. In fact, we will be picking up some flyers very shortly. A much better way to get your concert series listed, however, is to email dkorando@stlbeacon.org. Check back regularly as we will add concerts as we get the information and we will be adding band profiles.

To be on the list, the concerts must be free. People should count on bringing their own seating (blankets or chairs), and picnic baskets are almost always welcome.

Alton

Alton offers variety, though the Amphitheatre series doesn’t make our list because most of the concerts are not free ($5). Still, check www.riverfrontamphitheater.com to find the ones that are. And check out the Rockin with Robert Concerts at the Robert Wadlow Statue (2810 College Ave. (list to come).
