Ron Paul campaign opens state headquarters in Brentwood, he's to appear Saturday in St. Charles
Just days before the candidate is to appear in St. Charles, the Ron Paul for President 2012 Campaign is holding a grand opening tonight of its Missouri headquarters in Brentwood.
According to the Missouri group’s Facebook site, the Brentwood event begins at 5 p.m. at the new headquarters, at 8225 Manchester Drive.
Activities include food and refreshments, a raffle of Paul's campaign items as well as the operation of a phone bank. Supporters also will “watch the results come in for Super Tuesday,” according to the group’s announcement.

On Saturday, Paul (right) is scheduled to speak at 3 p.m. at Lindenwood University, in its Hyland Arena on the St. Charles campus.
Organizers say the event is free and open to the public.
Paul is expected to make an enthusiastic bid for support and delegates in Missouri’s presidential caucus process, which begins with local county and township meetings on March 17. (The exception is the city of St. Louis, which holds its caucus March 24.)
The caucuses will select local representatives for the next round in April. That's when the meetings will actually choose delegates, based in part on whom they back for president.
