Spotlight: Artist captures faces of 'Hunger'
In a nearly five-year journey, photographer Michael Nye crossed the country with a hunger to understand what it’s like to not have enough to eat. The result is "About Hunger & Resilience," an exhibit opening Saturday at the Missouri History Museum.

Nye spent several days with each of his 50 subjects, capturing their black-and-white images with an 8x10 view camera. The portraits include a five-minute audio clip of each person telling his or her story.
You can preview the portraits and stories on his website.
